Privateer 1 no speech

hi,

it doesn't matter what I choose in the "install" for sound fx, I won't have speech nor fx sounds

I played around with the dos box settings, chose sb,sb16,sb pro etc. but nothing helped..

what am I doing wrong? music plays fine

btw: JEMM is unloaded

can you post your dosbox settings? It sounds a bit like either you haven't enabled EMS support in dosbox and/or you're not making sure that your IRQ settings in the game installer match the dosbox settings.

I found it

I hab 63 mbyte of RAM, this is too much for privateer. everything above 32 megs of Ram will cause the problem with the speech.
