Classed a? WTH?

Anyway, in the Wing Commander games your character is always a member of the Space Force -- which has ranks similar to the army. The Navy -- who run the capships and such -- have ranks similar to the current navy.

Um, I know what MP means. I want to know why the hell do you bring multiplayer into this thread, for no aparent reason.

Ok now, I think I can explain what's going on: angelus though our ranks we're gievn to us on the base of WC MP games which we played against each other, so he wanted to know how can he play too and how he can get his rank.

Feel free to corect me if I'm wrong

To cleam up the confusion (if that's possible

), angelus you get promoted by aquiring a certen number of posts. For example to go from cadet to Fist Lieutenant you need 75 posts.

That is all

Wing Commander is more than just a game. It is a lifestyle.

If you don't know that you go up in rank by getting more posts, then you've obviously never been on a ubb board like this before.

Well now that this is all cleared up let's talk

In WC2 didn't the Admiral tell Blair that his career in the " Navy " was over? But oh well, it's still all good. But you're right about WC characters being members of a Space Force. When I played the first WC, I wondered why the ranks were so mixed in together. But even today the Air Force and Navy work together on a lot of stuff.
