Need help with WCP

OK, guys, I recently started playing WCP (I got it in a bundle but my old joystick died before I could complete it and just recently got a new one) and I'm stuck on the "Hrissith 5 : Plasma Gun Defense" mission. Not really stuck but it tells me that the carrier was lost before I can even launch into the mission (while still on the Midway). Does anybody have an idea on how to fix that? Any help will be appreciated.

Play simulator mission 7 (or was it 6?) to fix that bug.
