Mission 3A Unable to Complete?

Okay this is 3a (where I did capture the Fralthi) but every time I wipe out the attacking Nephilim at Beaufort Station it tells me to Land and Refuel so I fly near the station and land. It does the fueling noise but then ends the mission. The debriefing comes up indicating that Defend Beaufort Station is Incomplete and Escort Fralthi to Station is Incomplete. Why does it end the mission without me being able to finish these objectives? And yes I killed every Nephilim at the station, no it was not destroyed.

Hmm. The mission is supposed to automatically exit if the refuelling cutscene goes on for over 35 seconds (it's a safeguard - during a cutscene, you have no control at all over the game, so if something goes wrong, the only way you could get out of the scene would be to reset the computer). I don't know, however, why this happens to you - needless to say, the cutscene is designed to be over long before the 35 second limit. Anyway, it's possible that this is a one-off problem, and the next time you try it, it will work properly. You might also want to try approaching the station from different angles - theoretically that shouldn't make a difference, but theory and practice don't always match up in WCP .

Well. all I can say is that I played this missin for about 100 times in beta testing and I had this effect happening once. So it kinda is a known error. Since then an additional safeguard was installed but as the error was found to be unreproduceable it could never be tested. It is extremely likely that you will never see it again.
