Minx and Jazz...

Sharpshooter

Rear Admiral
Just wondering... In a SO2 losing path cutscene, Minx and Jazz are having an argument over who should be rewarded, and shortly after they almost seem to be flirting with each other. As far as I know Jazz isn't too fond of Minx, and Minx has no reason to like Jazz at all... So why are they suddenly acting like they're good friends?

So why are they suddenly acting like they're good friends?

Well, it's very short and rushed, but here it goes...

It starts off that Minx isn't in the Official Kilrathi Fan Club, and therefore she's not entitled to rewards. This is explained to her, and the ending lines seem more to indicate that she's joining the Official Kilrathi Fan Club rather than asking Jazz to marry her. The "anytime sweetheart" sounds like typical Jazz sarcasm, as well.

It seems to be like Minx was simply trying to get on Jazz's good side after he puts her in her place concerning the Mandarin cause.

Space Point

The immediate point is that she's seducing Jazz with almost exactly the same line she used on Blair aboard the Concordia. It's also a win/lose thing -- if you *win* the mission then Minx begs forgiveness as she dies... if you *lose* then she and Jazz team up to take you on in the future.

Ah, thanks. Apparently it didn't prevent Jazz from letting her die if you destroy Ayers' Rock, though... But we all know how twisted Jazz is. :p

If so, why couldn't he learn how to dogfight halfway decently? :p

And, having learned that he couldn't beat Blair one on one, he went ahead and tried again anyways... and he even bothered to try ejecting. Why? So Blair would just shoot him down this time? After all, he HAD said he wanted to pull the trigger himself, and this WOULD let him do it...

Blair just don't understand the ladies. ;)
