Lost WC3 Object Appears on Radar (July 22, 2017)

Here's another cool lost 'ground target' asset from Wing Commander III:
a Kilrathi radar station! It's not clear why this didn't make it into the finished game, but it's possible it was hard to place a wide flat object... or there may have been issues animating the radar dish as intended.

Interesting how it looks to have engine nozzles on the backside. Maybe it was intended as a mobile station?

Most other kilrathi ships have an actual Kilrathi insignia painted on it... this one is different for some reason. But looking through the game objects the same logo shows up on the "kilrathi generator" building object which looks like it was intended for a ground instalation.

That's the shield generator you have to destroy in the Freya ground attack mission.

Cool find again...both the installation and that it has engine nozzles .
