I am very curious about something. I recently found myself with the iff files for both wing commander 3 and wing commander 4 ships, and am wanting to do a small mod with just the Confed and Kilrathi in a game called Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. I wanted to use the assets from the orginal games, because while I can make the models myself, I am nostalgic and love the look of all the original stuff.
I am curious if someone can help point in me in the right direction with where to convert the files, or more importantly how to pull the IFF apart so I can get the models into a usable format, like 3ds or obj.
