hi all,

does anyone have any pictures of a logo for the Free Republic of the Landreich? There obviously is one, but I havent found one. thanks for any help

As far as I know there was never one seen. It's just described in one of the novels. What Howard and the Pioneer team have put on their ships is an interpretation of that description.
 
I'm not sure why there'd obviously be one - the Landreich shows up only in Dr. Forstchen's Wing Commander novels.

I made my own map of the Landreich based on some descriptions and such... but it still leaves a lot to chance. It's at https://www.wcnews.com/maps

The Landreich insignia is red St. Andrew's cross in a blue circle. The Landreich flag is a white St. Andrew's cross on a black starfield, impaled by an upright sword with "Freedom Through Strength" is written below.

Definitely.

I like how I scrolled down gradually, and the pictures gradually morphed into the Confederate battle flag, and the first text I actually read was the ideological spasm against western society.
 
For whatever it's worth - We were wrong about the Landriech symbol on many of our earlier ships. We've had several variations - blurry blue circle, red cross - Blue circle white cross, blue circle with red outline - red cross. The first one is the correct one - This is more due to misunderstandings and stupid mistakes on my part thatn it is any real uncertainty over the actual symbol. We've since fixed it. Blue circle, Red cross. No outline.
 
Well, I posted it for the nice collection of flags using St. Andrew's cross to help compose the flag of the Landreich, not the political view of the author. Maybe there's a special significance to the flag, maybe not, but I don't think it'd be found on that page.
