There's no denying that Starlancer borrows heavily from the Wing Commander universe. The intro for instance is like watching the opening scene of Wing Commander IV. The Lancer News crew also discovered some striking similarities between the game and the WC Movie. Some of the movies' scenes were copied, and they even recycled some of the 3D models.
