Kilrathi Voice editor?

Hi,

has anybody got an idea how to create sound files out of ordinary recorded waves that sound like the Kilrathi in... let´s say WC2?

I´d be happy for any suggestions for programs you might have - maybe there are plug-ins available...

Currently i´m using Cool Edit 2000... but i simply don´t get a "real kilrathi" voice out of it! :(
 
Wing Commander 2 Kilrathi were... wait for it... people talking with funny voices! It hurts your throat after a bit.
 
Currently, I use a combination of Audacity's tools (available at sourceforge.net) and my own voice acting. You can use it to really emphasize and deepen your own gutteral growls and such. However, I don't know of any filter that makes your voice sound harsh and rough if you aren't able to do it on your own, first. Like Overmortal, if you let me know what lines you want, I'd be happy to supply a Kilrathi voice for you.
 
Its best if you are good at doing the voice without a filter. Then process the hell out of it, you will have much better results. You need to try and not slur your words though and pronounce eveything very well or else things might get lost.
 
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live 5.1 used to come bundled with software that allowed you to set certain environments...there was one titled "Alien" that was pretty good for Kilrathi imitation.
