Kilrathi Reference

I'm interested in doing some hand drawings, and I could use some more complete pictures of the Kilrathi from Wc3. Does anyone have some full-body shots or any other pictures I could use as reference? I'm trying to do a better job than the WCM and Academy ones. The Wc1 marines were also kind of stupid looking, but the Sm2 marines were an imporvement. I'm going for a mix of all of them.
 
Don't forget Melek.

Meh. The Wc4 Melek is kind of dumb looking. Especially compared to the Wc3 Melek.

The one concept i'm going for is the weapons. There has been no definitive weapons guide, so i've taken some liberty on desgning my own. The idea was to combine bladed hand-to-hand weapons with semi-primitive projectile weapons. The Kilrathi would have a predelection for hand-to-hand, so i've devised two weapons (Pictures pending):

-A flechette-firing shotgun-like weapon with an overslung laser, a three-bladed bayonette, and a folding stock and clip that can be quickly folded into a short stabbing spear

-A short-ranged laser that aims down the spine of a large axe-like blade

Any comments?
 
I think pride goes before a fall in terms of drawing Kilrathi -- prefacing your request by letting everyone know you're sure you can do a better job than the movie, Academy, Wing Commander I and Wing Commander IV probably wasn't the best way to get help.

There's some good information out there about Kilrathi weapons -- both projectile (the Confed Handbook, of course, has a good section on the Dor-Chak laser rifle - Academy shows both standard rifle and hand lasers... and there's a Dor-Chak-a-like in Wing Commander III) and bladed (the novels introduce several different types, including the Claw Knife, the Koractu sword and the Vorshaki dueling blade.)
 
I got curious about ground forces and got one heck of a response. Search for the "Weapons of the marines/army" thread. People posted some great references there ;)

edit: IIRC, aside from the Kilrathi, you won't find much of anything better than WC4 compared to WC3 in the FMVs.

Not only that, but in Wc4 they gave him an irritating naging voice :( . Totally different from his voice in 'Heart of the Tiger'.
The best looking kitty is probably a mix of WC2 & 3
 
The point is that Kilrathi look very different in many different WC products, so it's silly to take one and assume it's the right one.
 
Well, of course.. the reason we're even having this discussion is that people like to say that all but their favorite look stupid though.
 
nah.. the only stupid looking kilrathi are the ones from the movie.

THE KILRATHI ARE NOT NAKED MOLERATS!
 
favorite are wing commander 3 ones, they are in my opinion what you would
get if you replaced the wc2 drawings with costumes, as was intended.

As for looking cute and fluffy, well, they didn't scare the hell out of me,
but i prefer the look below to the movie kilrathi.

ehehhe, true. I'd rather talk about the ones I LIKE though. Well, I like all the Kats but the Movie and WC4 ones. And I actually liked the movie Kats in the concept drawing... Its the implementation that bothers me.


The WC1 kilrathi actually dressed full metal armor, which is kinda similar to the movie Kilrathi.
