Oh I never realised that these are based on actual designs (or close to therein). Just a FYI. Although the original models I used are scooby's work there are some minor changes to the majority of capital ships. The poly counts were within tollerance for FoC thankfully, which meant they didn't require to many chances (mainly just engines more than anything). After having gone through the new capitals I realised that there was no "destroyer" to compliment the Murphy as an "advanced" replacement and the Nimitz looks very good for the purpose so the hangar was removed. Along with these and the 4 additional fighter classes, 1 torpedo bomber and 1 heavy bomber that have been sorted out ready for conversion these will mark the end of the confederation fleet as a whole (at least for now anyway as that gives a good selection of ships to choose from). I've also managed to secure permission to make some neat Kilrathi ships based in and around Cybot078 original designs (its nice to get some inspiration from those who have a better imagination than me), so hopefully the 2.0 release will be here intime for christmas (I'll be crossing my fingers on that one).
