Stupid people shouldn't be allowed to put items up for auction.

Almost 9 kilobucks (US) for a case of beer whose only claim to fame is being modeled off of the Simpsons beer? Sheesh...
 
Well - it seems to be a laugh for almost 300 people. And nobody betting on it, so the only one hurt is the seller who has to pay fees...
 
If he hadn't placed such a high starting bid then maybe some people may have actually bid for it until someone was paying more than his wildest dreams for it.

It's nice to know that there's some hope for humanity (though that hope was shaken with the "ROFL" waffle thing earlier, which actually did get bids).

But I'd be quite glad if that was the most stupid thing ever on e-bay.
