Jetlag has found that GameTap has released a 'commercial' advertising the original Wing Commander's addition to their service. A special video now plays while you're downloading the game (and at other points in the service). The voiceover narration they've come up with is especially cool... and very respectful towards the game!

Welcome to the war. The Confederation needs you. We've held off the bloodthirsty Kilrathi for some twenty years, but they are relentless. Gametap is one of the greatest things ever for gamers, and a very good reason to have a good PC.
