How many missions?

I was playing UE and next of 5 or 6 missions, when Dauntless jump to next system I view a movie with a figthers enemy attack on dauntless and next the end game.
How many missions there are?, many people talk about the 10 missions or more.
I have install any more how I did with Secrets Ops?

there are about 10 or 11 missions in UE, i can't remember which.

If the game ended after mission 5, that means you lost . You need to go back to mission 3 and save Beaufort station.

Ok, then I have that acomplished all missions before jump to the next system. I will test that!, though I could not acomplish this mission because this is very dificult.
So I think that the game will should advise "you lose"!

I believe it does. It's called a 'losing' endgame.
