Alright, Half Life 2 is supposed to be coming out within 6 months... It'll be the most technologically and graphically advanced game to date.
It seems like there are several opportunities throughout the Wing Commander plotline to have strategy first-person subplots.
For instance, rescuing the guy who worked on the Temblor Bomb... Dr. Death or something like that?
Or, perhaps a ground defense against the Kilrathi ground attack at McAullife?
It just seems like people put out TCMs every day for HL1; HL2 will be sweet as anything; even a simple plot with some well-designed models would be fun to play -- perhaps even with a Privateer spin, making a map generator, etc.
Valve is supposed to release a SDK soon... give this some thought, and post some replies.
