EXTRA INFO : test results of how "5979 cl wing commander IV 2.0 c1997 (double sided DVD)"

behave in the next conditions under Win Me 4.9 and Win2000 Professional, I am not telling this
as a complaint but as information of how the game worked on this SO, so this could help many players with bugs and glitches.

5979 cl wing commander IV 2.0 c1997 (double sided DVD)

First test :

Under Windows Millenium Edition 4.90.3000 compilation 3000 on C:\ (master drive)
Mother board K7VM2 Asrock built by VIA
System type X86-based-PC
Processor AMD athlon(tm) XP 1700+ AunthenticAMD ~1466 Mhz
X86 Family 6 Model 8 Stepping 1 AuthenticAMD ~1466 Mhz
Bios version 12/13/2002
Total RAM memory 511,43 MB
Available Ram memory 349,71 MB
Total virtual memory 2,00 GB
Available virtual memory 1,78 GB
Virtual memory type 32 bits
Paging archive space 1,50GB
Video card NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 with AGP8X 128 MB (but mother board configured to AGP4X)
DirectX9.0c installed
16 bits color configuration

After execute setup.exe at some point appears the error message
"_ delis made an error in _isdel.exe _ delis will close

After I press tre error message close button the setup let me continue the instalation, I choosed complete instalation which ended without trouble. Installed on c:\wc4dvd
After I executed wc4dvd.exe the video dont appear on screen just the choices and when entered in the combat simulation it crashes.
After I install dxmci10.zip files in wc4dvd directory and put in win.ini at [mci extensions] the instruction vob=mciqtz.drv it played well the intro movies and the choices but when entered in the combat simulation it crashes. The dxmci12, 13 and 15 did not work.
I installed the ac3filter_1_46.exe and the Mpeg2DecFilter.ax but i do not know if they make any diference.
I copied The Mpeg2DecFilter.ax to th c:\wc4 file but cannot register it.
From this it could be assumed that Win Me 4.90.3000 compilation 3000 it is uncompatible with
5979 cl wing commander IV 2.0 c1997 (double sided DVD) even with patches but I am no sure.

Dont worry, 5979 cl wing commander IV 2.0 c1997 (double sided DVD) worked under the next SO with the next conditions.

I cannot found trouble at the moment. The DXMCI configuration was Level 1
But only dxmci13.zip files worked. The dxmci10, 12 and 15.zip cannot work. Strange, aint???
At the moment I cannot find anything more ,
