GOG Release: Ultima IX Ascension (August 23, 2012)

GOG is back in the Origin business, releasing the final single-player Ultima this morning! Ultima: Ultima IX Ascension is the final Ultima released for the PC missing from the service. Hopefully we'll see the rest of the Wing Commander series soon!

Weren't there several initiatives to fix the various bugs or cut content for this game? Did any of those ever get anywhere?

Yes and we are still progressing. A new patch will be released in the next couple of days.
