For everbody who has problems with the VDMSound of Wing Commander 3.
First of all I have to say that I am German, so my english may be a little bit incorrect.
OK like everybody here in this Forum I tried to run WC 3 with the Patch from http://www.topnalias.com/JX/ but it won´t work.
The Game is fine but, at some Parts it freezes. Perhaps when I meet the first time Cobra.
Then I tried DOSBox. The Sound is OK, but it is toooooooo slow.
After that I tried VDMSound and I had that Sound Problem.
Finally I tried SoundFX 2000 and it works perfectly.

I tried it with my Soundblaster Audigy Player and my Motherboart-Soundcard. Both times it works perfect.
