Got this in an e-mail on the 16th:

Aug 16 1977

"Elvis Presley dies in his home at the age of 42, while sitting on the
toilet. In the bathroom, he had been reading The Scientific Search
for the Face of Jesus. Presumably, Elvis' search was concluded
shortly thereafter."

Zao - breath of the black muse
Unearth - the great dividers
Killswitch Engage - Vide Infra
These songs are kickass while you're joyriding in an asteroid field with the chase camera on.

On my WC off time however I tend to listen to the original inflight music, some of those tracks are really good. If only George Oldziey came up with a 2 cd set of his WC work...

A strange mix of songs that don't have a whole lot in common that I think go good with WC dogfighting.

Black Sabbath: Into the Void
The Beach Boys: Wipeout
Guns 'N Roses: Live and Let Die
Offspring: DUI (Specifically for the flying that mission drunk in WCIII)
PennState Blue Band: Nittany Lion
The Ramones: I Wanna Be Sedated
Count Basie Orchestra: The Heat's On

dude, live and let die should be after the dogfight.
You arrive back at your carrier and strut. ("live and let dieee")

Beach Boys don't do perform Wipe out...

I used to listen to Rancid's "Let's Go!" while playing WCP....got you really pumped...

I got it, though I doubt any of you know this band.

Kickin Tires by Tourniquet

Oldskool thrash metal. Like . . . skate thrash.

All That Remains said:
hXc? wtf mates.

hXc means hardcore. It's basically a straightedge thing (sXe), even though I'm nothing close to straightedge anymore.

It's alright. Since I'm no longer straightedge, I don't take offense to other people not knowing about straightedge (or the whole *X* thing, which automatically denotes whatever it is as "hardcore". Example, there's bacon grease, which isn't hardcore, then there's bXg, which is hardcore)
