Today's new poll asks about your favorite Kilrathi. There's a wide variety to choose from, and each has quite a distinct history and personality. After you've voted, hit the Discuss link below and let everyone know how you made your choice!

The last poll asked about everyone's favorite bombers. The net was cast wide with a large array of torpedo-carrying craft, but the clear preference was for the big beefy fortresses - Broadsword, Longbow and Devastator. The TBolt narrowly edged out the Morningstar among more nimble craft.

What was your favorite bomber?

I voted for Kirha because he is an ultimately tragic character and really illustrates the inherent wartime weakness of the Kilrathi.
As for visual presentations, though, I would have to vote for Thrakhath and the Emperor. They were well acted and looked very good for puppets. I also like the long haired look of the WC3 kats over the WC4 Melek or the peanut headed puppets of the movie. Don't get me wrong. After seeing some of the BTS videos, which were posted up a few days ago, I honestly kind of wondered what the production crew saw that made them feel like they weren't good enough for an expanded feature film role. I just feel like there is something innately unnatural about a hairless cat.:)

WC2 era Thrakkath - Kilrathi look the most natural when drawn and animated, the puppet suits in 3 and 4 certainly get an A+ for effort and were very well designed, but still unfortunately made the Kilrathi seem like a lumbering race of cripples.

WC2 gave the Kilrathi enemies we'd shot up in WC1 voices and menace, for me, this is where their credibility as foes was established - Thrakkath is the kind of predictable heavy whose lack of subtlety and obsessive interest in the player character makes a fun fight.
