I voted. Seriously, I think that's all you need to know about my interaction with this thread. ;)

And, if you've missed out on all of my previous rants, I voted Arrow.

Speed, grace, beauty, missiles, guns, sliding, she's one helluva ship.

And, that's all I'm going to say on the topic. For now. ;)

Looks like nobody is voting for the Longbow. I don't blame you guys, either. The only thing the Longbow has going for it is that it carries three torps more than the Thunderbolt VII and four missiles more than the Excalibur. Its guns are weaker than those on either the Tbolt or the Excalibur as well--I think it ought to have particle and plasma cannons instead of particle and neutron if it is going to be a gunboat. Unfortunately, its excruciatingly slow turn rate makes dogfighting impossible, so if you are being attacked by Darkets/Strakhas and have no missiles left, you're screwed. Once the Excalibur becomes available, I just use it for everything and sit in capships' blind spots behind their engines to shoot them down.
 
Got to go with the Thunderbolt, (excluding the Excalibur of course) Takes a lickin' and keeps on kickin' :)
