Famous Wc fans

No Regret

Spaceman
I just found out that my favorite author, Terry Pratchett (all who have never read one of his hilarious Discworld novels should have their figgins roasted over a small fire

), is a WC fan:
Here's a few of his quotes:

Pratchett on computer games:

“I have played ‘Elite’, ‘Wing Commander’, ‘X-Wing’ and altogether too many outer-space-shoot-em-ups. I mean, don’t they all have shields, missiles and stuff?”

“Well, right now I’m storming through ‘Privateer’ under the callsign of Flash Bastard, whose career has progressed throughout the whole Wing Commander series.”

Any other known celebs who are WC fans?

Robin Williams, a WC fan? Cool.

Freddie Prinze jr. (obviously

since that's the reason he took part in the movie), Smudo from Die Fantastischen Vier (anybody ever listened to some of their songs? He even had a very small part in WCP.)

Then if you say he's a fan, he's a fan.

But just because someone takes a part in a movie or game, doesn't mean they're a fan. Even if they speak highly of it.

Don't forget Dralthi, Mark Hamill has always been a great sci-fi fan (heck, don't forget about Star Wars when he was young). If you read quotes from him, he loves the stuff.
As for Wing Commander; according to the database, he fully enjoyed Wing Commander as a game and a reality (more or less in his words).

Really? Whoa, Asterix, don't blow my mind like that.

Metras: Hey, I'm not arguing.

Anyway, anyone ever read M. Hamill's comic book, the Black Pearl? It's definitely not for the kiddies.

Metras: It's been out a couple years. It was a limited series from Dark Horse, I believe. It was about a vigilante named the Black Pearl who got in deep in a murder case of an underage adult film star. See what I mean?
