Attack on Kilrathi home world has succeeded. Whole planet has been destroyed including the emperor and his warlords. Surviving Kilrathi, on the ships or colonial worlds, were demoralized and have asked for peace. Race of cat warriors cease to present treat for Earth and its colonies. 35 years of war has ended and finally peace reigned the whole galaxy. Or at least the humans thought so …
But the reality is different. There remained enough independent Kilrathi warlords – rulers with large amount of warships and weapons. Some loathed for the vengeance on the apes, which destroyed their holy home world, some intended to found their own empires while the others simply became pirates and attacked human colonies out of their whim. Meanwhile on the Earth humans and their leader tired by war ignore the news of rising Kilrathi aggressiveness. They rather look into far peaceful and prosperous future.
But that was only small pause before coming of new storm …
