You need to provide a credit card to sign up, and people have been prosecuted for placing fake bids. Also, fake bidding is retarded.
 
Look at the guy's feedback though. He has far too many positives to be ripping people off. So there must be 7 CD's afterall, and he just doesn't realize he has that pirated WC4 on lower capacity CD's. That, or he can't count.

But the seller placed your "playguide" in such a way we can't really tell if it's a playguide or a CD...
Besides, he himself advertises a "7 CD BOX SET"...
