Differences between WCIV CD and DVD version

I'm referring, specifically, to the ultra high quality dvd version, and the 6 cd version.

So far, the only thing I've for sure noticed is that when Seether kills Paulsen, you don't really see the throat being slit in the DVD version.

It seems that Pliers is much more talkative in the loadout screen, now, as well.

Has anyone else noticed other things?

Both Paulsen death scenes are on the DVD... I assume the one in question was for the european market that has stricter blood rules.... also in the less graphic version seether says "stop whinning"... which isn't in the other version.

Beyond that, I haven't really noticed much else, except that some of the hall scenes don't have audio on the dvd for some reason.

Beyon that the main difference is the picture and audio quality in the movies... mpeg 2 + ac3 (5.1 dolby digital)

You also don't see Paulson's throat get slit in the Playstation port.

The WC4 DVD version does not contain the Speradon shipyard video sequence as seen on the CD version, although in its place the DVD version includes a brief sequence of the Intreprid jumping in-system and then joining up with other Border World's capital ships -- IIRC, two destroyers and one cruiser. This new video is similar in purpose, but quite different in style to the latter part of the Circe tank video sequence, in which the Intrepid is seen jumping in-system to link up with two destroyers and a cruiser after three Vindicators return from a bombing run.

Cheers,
