Can't get WCP to work

I need help in order to be able to play the game on my new system. I have a P4 3.2 GHz with a Radeon 9800 Pro with 1 GB of ram running with XP pro. I have read all of the other posts on how to set stuff up, and I am sure that they will be usefull down the road. However, I cannot get WCP to even install since it reads that I do not have enough memory to run it. I have a 200 GB HD that has only 18 GB of memory used.

Any help that you can give will be appreciated.

PS I also tried to run Secret Ops with no joy there either.
 
"memory" refers to RAM 99% of the time. Maybe you have TOO MUCH of it, and WCP can't see it. Or maybe it's just a general incompatibility that is manifested with this (wrong) message.
 
Do you use a swap drive/virtual memory? If not do so. I had numerous software not working due to insufficient memory no matter how much physical memory was there because of this.
