Can't get Flight Commander to run on laptop!

This is as far as it gets....

No texture compression found

Swap control found
No cube mapping found
Could not create directinput joystick device
Joystick not found

This is with the latest patch. The unpatched version didn't even get that far...

Any ideas? I have a RAGE MOBILITY PRO graphics card, or something like that. Processor is 850MHz PIII, 256mbytes RAM, Windows XP Pro SP2 OS.
 
Looks like either a driver bug, or else your video card + driver are a bit too old to handle the game, sorry.
You might want to try one of the older versions of Flight Commander and see how that goes.
