Can't connect to #Wingnut

I've never been able to connect to the IRC chat #Wingnut sections. I have a Macintosh G3 computer, and every time I click on it, all I get is a blank all white window. Is there something I need to download to get it to work on my computer?

Mac? Hmm, try IRCle: http://www.ircle.com/

You probably need some third party java stuff to get the browser client to work on your system. Ircle should do it.

Well, thanks guys.. I tried downloading one of the pieces of software from the link and it didn't work- I also don't feel like messing around with shareware that's good for 30 days either.. I guess I'll have to stick to posting until I get a new laptop.

If ircle doesn't work, it's probably not just your computer. Do you have a router or firewall blocking stuff? Try installing the JRE for Mac and then seeing if our browser client works. http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
