Calling Macintosh Pack Rats - Need SWC Files (April 24, 2005)

After our recent Super Wing Commander Review, a number of people noticed that our Macintosh SWC files were missing. A technical glitch sent them missing shortly after the CIC opened, and we'd like to recover them. If anyone has swcdemo.sit, swcppc.sea, swcfat.sea or swc68k.sea, feel free to send us a message.

Don't you guys already have the later three files? At least, the links from your mirror site seem to work fine:

The only file that's actually lost is the swcdemo.sit. I've looked all over the 'net for it, and have had no luck.

FYI: It looks like the Mac Demo was originally distributed with the March 1995 issue of Inside Mac Games. So if you saved all your CDs from old issues of IMG, you might want to check to see if you have the file!

Yup, the three patches are apparently on the EA ftp still, but we hadn't transferred them locally. Still looking for the actual demo.

Still looking, the closest thing so far is http://wolfpack.twu.net/users/wolfpack/swcdemo.tgz
but it's only 8 KB, so that can't be it.
Will search some more tomorrow

If you extract the file you linked to, you'll find a few source files and a readme. The readme says:

SHIPWARS CLIENT DEMO
