I searched this forum and haven't found anyone reporting this bug. When I had landed at the cap ship (dryman) during the side mission (rescuing the pilot) and tried to save and load, I found myself in space with mouse not working and my centurion constantly turning left. There was no mission-dryman anymore, so I think the reason behind this is that, after load there was no reason for this dryman to exist (as I've finished the mission landing at this ship), so it vanished (or rather didn't appear at all).
Ps. What GUI library do you use in vegastrike launcher?
