BREAKING NEWS: EA on GOG Releases Resume Tomorrow (November 14, 2011)

Bandit LOAF

Long Live the Confederation!
GOG today announced that the third set of EA games released through the service will begin tomorrow! It's not known which games will be next; at this point, games from every series GOG is known to have licensed have been released... so it could be anything! Our fingers are crossed for more Wing Commander or Privateer... or, failing that, more Ultima, Crusader, Cybermage or other Origin classics. They've posted a poll on Facebook asking customers which EA games customers want to see next. Be sure and tell them: Wing Commander! Check back tomorrow morning to see what the first release is.

I betting on Wing Commander or Privateer 2 since they have been selling so well compared to the Ultimas; though they may release Ultima 7 since that will probably be a better seller than the age of enlightenment. I know I will buy it when it is released through GOG (assuming it is the PC version).

Of course it could be both.

I'd wager we'll see WC4 eventually. I don't think P2 was part of the original deal though, so we'll likely have to wait for that one.

While disappointed it was not WC4-DVD, I am happy it is Lands of Lore. I have been looking for it since I had to move away from my friend that owned the CD that I kept "borrowing". I played all the way to the ghost hallway in the castle, then got stuck. Kind of like that mission in Prophecy that keeps KICKING MY BUTT WHOMADETHISGAMENINTENDOHARD:mad:...

Sorry, I digress. Anyway, back to my original point, Lands of Lore is an excellent addition to the Good Old Games library.

edited for spelling and psychotic rant
