Wing Commander CIC

Finally! Today we've got a completely positive piece from the British gaming press looking back the the original Wing Commander.Pix reports this is from a 2005/2006 issue of PC Zone, which also brought us the previous positive review of Righteous Fire. It seems wingnuts might have had a friend in PC Zone. There are a few anecdotes about the original game and its influence before the piece moves into the later games in the series and a discussion of Roberts post-Origin/EA career.

I've never made a game before or since where everything came together so smoothly and felt so right. If I had the chance to go back and change my games I would say that the first Wing Commander would be the one game I would leave alone.
