Armada VCPI error

Anyone have any idea how to get around the VCPI compatibility error in Armada while still running in Windows 98SE? I know that I can restart and run in DOS, but I'd like to be able to use my LAN setup with it. It sounds like a problem with EMM386, but Armada apparently needs it to run, and when EMM386 is loaded I get the VCPI error. Any ideas?

Two people, that I know of, have said they've gotten Armada working in Windows. I'm rather skeptical since I have never seen a step by step procedure explaining it.

Exactly. There has recently been a thread where TC posted one vaguish explanation regarding how to get Armada working in Windows, but following this explanation got me nowhere.
 
Okay, at least I know now that it's not something stupid I'm not doing. Thanks, guys. Appreciate the fast responses.
