Armada in Windows 98

Howdy all, Ive been trying to get my WC collection to work again after some computer geek asshole wiped them off and Ive been havin some trouble getting Armada to work. Ive tried loading it in Dosbox but it says that the EMS driver is not VCPI compliant so whats that mean? Ive also tried using myjemm but it doesnt work either. it starts loading but then it suddenly crashes and Im left back at the desktop wondering what happened. so any ideas?
 
Myjemm should work, any error messages from it?
As for DOSBOX, try to DISABLE ems memory.
 
for myjemm it starts loading then the screen goes black for a second and then Im back at desktop. There arent any error messages for it. how do I disable ems memory in dosbox?

EDIT: just tried it again and now its doin an illegal operation. this is what comes up when I press details:
