How do you change wing commander: Armada controls

No, they aren't. WC Armada is the only WC game with custimized keys.
Don't remember where to set the however. Wasn't there an option on the mai screen? If not try pressing alt+o or ctrl+o while in flight. Hope I remember correct

Just checked... As I said one of the two mentioned.

It was ALT+O while in flight.
Then look down the screen to a section called Calibrate. There click on Keyboard.

You get a list with all keys. Click on a rectangle (can need multiple tries) then press the new key.

Done...
