Any HIGH RES patch or ideas for WC 3 and 4 !?

I know there's a way to make the WC 5 high res and what not but I was wondering if anyone knew of any way or anything about making WC 3 n 4 high res.
I had a friend who told me tht apparently WC 4 had support for 3d accelaration but never got to find out whn he was around... n now he's gone and I have the game.

Sooo anyway... was curious so decided to ask.
 
Neither wc3 nor 4 support 3D acceleration. But that doesn't mean the resolutions and such couldn't be improved in the future, though it would be possibly alot more complicated.
