MS Allegiance new site and some info
hey,
if anyone remembers the MS game "allegiance", then this should ring a bell. basically, about a year and a bit ago MS abandoned the game, killed off the pay-to-play aspect and ditched their free servers, the game being saved from MS and various hackers by the efforts of the community as a whole.
recently this community has begun to create its own "factions" using new models and weapons and is working towards bringing back stats and an expansion pack. the game engine is basic albeit capable of nice moments, but it remains easily the most stable multiplayer game on the net short of MS Chess, and the ability to create your own models and factions should suggest that a WC mod of Allegiance would be quite easy to make.

in the forums there are a few people who could help with pointing prospective mod-makers in the right direction.
