A Quick Fix (February 17, 1999)

Some people may experience difficulty viewing the new trailers. If you're one of those people, our Media Specialist, Hadrian, has come up with a fix.

This problem appears to occur in Voodoo Banshee cards, but it may be present in other cards as well. What happens is the following:When the trailer is played, the video does not appear to update correctly and it flickers, here is the remedy:Windows Media Player 5/6:1) Open the video and right click on the playback window2) Go to properties3) Click on the "Advanced" Tab4) Select "Video Renderer"5) Click on the Properties Button6) Click on the "DirectDraw" Tab7) Under the "DirectDraw options" box, deselect the following: YUV Flipping RGB FlippingIt should look like this: (Show picture here)8) Enjoy the Trailer!
