A Couple of Questions

Okay first off i have been playing wing commander and its sequals since i was about 7 years old. I have always had wing commander 2 and its speech accesory pack but i could never get sound on wing commander 2. And the speech accesory pack doesnt have a exe. file on the first disk. Does anyone know if there is a patch for the speech accesory? And i have recently tried to install wing commander 2 on my windows xp and when i click on install.exe it just opens a small black window and then closes it and does nothing. PLease someone answer my questions cause they are really bothering me. Thank you

Without MyJEMM or that Virtual Machine-thingy, there's just no way in heaven you'll get WC2 to run in WinXP. As for the speech pack... You're absolutely sure there's no exe? No bat, or com?

To get sound, you need a sound card with DOS drivers that's enabled through autoexec.bat and config.sys. Can we have a look at those files?
