Hi!

Still remembering when I unpacked WC 1 and installed it on my old 386 DX33

So many years after, beeing a father with three kids myself, I find it so amazing that Wing Commander is still alive. Great community to keep up this site.
Hard to find any computer game with such a deep story behind. And I don't care about the graphics - sometimes, content is more important than special FX.
;)

Just installed WC Prophecy on my "old" XP computer. Works fine with the tools I found here. Just having problems with the high-res video pack, but that is all right, I can live without it.

(Sorry if my english is not perfect; I am German)

Be sure to check the Tech Support forum or make a post if you can't find the solution to the issue you are having.
 
Welcome aboard! Wing Commander is still alive because we have a great mix of old timers and new fans joining all the time!

A 386? Showoff! :-p

But you're right: I am constantly amazed what this community is still digging up of our beloeved franchise even after all these years. Playing the GOG-versions was great, I just wish we could easily transfer our WC1 characters to the SM and WC2 and SO...
