4:20 being the date. Ok, all yesterday it was all I heard. And first thing this morning on the radio... I'm not "hip" I guess. I know that 4:20 is in reference to drugs; pot. But aside from that where does it come from?
Asking my sister who is younger, she could only say that 4:20 just meant it was time to toke up since the work day was almost over. Then again, your going to be stoned at the end of your shift and then drive home essentually "drunk." That doesn't seem too bright.. So if your a drinker you start at 5:00 but stoners start at 4:20?
