Damn .... that really sucks , I been playing a copy that I restored from a tape and on CD ,its that I really like to get original disks to do a new install since over the years since my dos machine hardware config has changed and now on the machine I got the speech doesn't play .

Sheeesh I just solve that problem of running old games buy using a KVM switch and having several computers built to running the games I like , like a old 486 to run my dos games and a Tbird Slot A system to run my Win98SE games . Now t ofind those games on CD (Thank god for Ebay and $10 games)

I've been trying to replace my old dos Origin game floppies with the CD versions , today I manage to find Privateer and Armada on Ebay . Rght now I'm looking for Pacific Strike on CD I would appreciate any suggestions to as where to look since Ebay as drawn a blank on this game .

Re Win2k security Win2K is considered a C3 secure operating system by the US government , just hitting the escape key at the login prompt when it boots up will not get you in the operating system , it can pretty much foil the average home computer user , and it would take me a while to bypass...

Win98Se ? I run several applications that I need to know that are safe from prying eyeballs and on top of everything else it handles more than 256mb of memory alot better than Win98 . I had upgraded to 512mb memory and win98 slowed to a crawl , reformat and installed Win2k , viola ! Top speed...

Not there I already looked there , the link points to a directory that no long exsist on Blacklance's server . Thanx anyway ; which means I'm back to using Win98Se (eck !) .
