Fantastic! I always actually really liked the design: it looks believable and utilitarian, and the various little details like retro-thruster ports and the offset cockpit make it unique-looking.

Was I the only one who was disappointed when they realized the Nephilim ships have cockpit canopies? Playing Prophecy back in the day, I always imagined their ships as entire organisms, and the talking heads in the VDUs weren't really pilots, but more like the ship's sensory/communication organs...

Just for my own curiosity, is there a way to implement something that would let you toggle between textures/polygons/wireframe? I don't know if I'm alone on this but I think that would be pretty neat.

Yeah, the effect really just did not pan out. Every capital ship in Wc4 just looked like a block of oily, jagged scrap metal; the simpler textures in Wc3 where the ships were more smooth grey with more solid accent colors ended up looking much better. I really like having the cockpit there too...
