    Side note on Flash - I don't even download the Flash plugin, as for some strange reason, not a single annoying Flash based advertisement works on a machine without Flash installed.

    Flyable ships?

    I'd have to agree on the desire to be able to purchase some of the Kilrathi ships. Essentially, any ship you meet in combat on a semi-regular basis should be available - produced, purchased, stolen, salvaged, gambling trophy, etc.

    Purely from the internal consistency/logic standpoing, not all factions - logically - are necessarily geographically based. Pirates operating out of a base are geographically based, but it's more along trade routes than geographic areas per se. Militia are clearly geographically based...

    Defend Perry from 18 Kilrathi capital ships... well, that one actually makes sense. Now, if they'd launched fighters as well, I can see Perry as a dust cloud.

    Hmmm... I don't think I like conqering replacing bases randomly: Future exploit if players do the conquering, similar to MOO "I'll blow up that small planet, and build a larger planet out of the asteroid belt" technique: Factions trading systems back and forth until it's a worthwhile system...

    I assume that we can have some systems fixed in wcu.xml, while the rest are autogen? Suggestion: Use autogen for now, and we'll see what's good and bad in playtesting. This will give us a quick fix now, and allow for someone with more knowledge of WCU to fill in specific known instances...

    Jump Bubbles or Jump Buoys?

    Jump bubbles look very impressive, while jump buoys and/or simply knowing the nav points make a lot more sense. I'd have to vote for the bubbles, really - if nothing else, blowing up jump buoys could have interesting side effects that you may not want to get into.

    SM-2 Block III and IV- Standard Missile-2 The Mark 1 Mod 0 Eyeball is issued to most humans at birth, and is located in the middle of the cranium, pointed forwards. To sum up in WCU terms: Rapier Block I would have neutron guns, Rapier Block II would have particle guns.
