I've got the latest version of the WC:U files, and I'm experiencing a rather strange, and annoying bug: Whenever I land on a base or a planet, I continue to hear every shot being fired in the system I'm in. I hear shots fired, shields being hit, armor being shot off, ships being destroyed...

No... It was Buffalo something. And the game was definately pre-3D accellerators, and it was also pre-DirectX. I recall complaining to Origin that I was having video problems, and wondered why it wouldn't work with Windows 95. They sent me a floppy with the patch on it, still got it...

You'll need to re-run the setup in the BIN folder. (Had the same problem.)

In the newest version, released last night, the Delphinus has been replaced by the Hornet. You can edit the "New_Game" save game, and change Tarsus.begin to Tarsus.stock, and then start a new game. (I used Wordpad or Notepad to edit it.)
