True However the lack of Afterburners was one of the causes of the Broadswords demise. It's also the reason that Buships chose the Longbow over the Crossbow. The Longbow had a heavier payload, stronger guns, good shields and armor, as well as the afterburner to boot.

What Confed should of done was equip the Broadswords with afterburners. that way they could lock the torps at long range then afterburn in launch the fish and pull out. That was aways what I liked to do with the Strike Sabres.

Starlancer was cool for the most part. The only problem was that in the capship fights the Carriers went in to a hot area completely relying on fighter support and half the time they would get damaged or fraged. What they should of done was sent in the fighters first to establish space...

Any who back to the subject the Landriech. I know they captured a Kilrathi Carrier and Crippled a Dreadnaught in False Colors. Also they still used some of the old fighters like the Raptors and RapierG's.

I Can't beleve that the Concordia went down the way it did. I aways pictured her going down in a fight with a Kilrathi Dreadnaught and getting one last shot off with the PTC, taking the Kilrathi with her.
