Oh, Wing Commander 2 was awesome when it came out, and I did play it in 1991. I did not have a sound card when I first played it, so I never actually heard the voice work. By the time I heard the speech ack for WC2, I had already played through WC3.

It is the same problem that a lot of people are having. I load it up, it plays the intro and locks up after the first or second movie. I tried all the compatibility mode, the Win2000 patch, tried changing priorities in the processes to "normal," etc. I am not really sure what else to do.

Wow, and I thought I was a little whacked. A great collector's piece though. :)
