    NFL team picks for 2004

Washington - with my boy Brunell now at QB, a bona fide star tailback in Portis, a solid receiving core, an always potent defense and Gibbs with the reigns, my adopted team is going to be a contender Joe's first year back. Also, my favs the Jaguars are also on many peoples lists to do well this...

Ships of the Animated Series: Epee (September 13, 2004)

Though the Epee that replaced the Hornet is the C model IIRC, so I believe there is more than enough room for an A or B model on the Tigers Claw 7 years prior. C-ya

    How big is that...?

Haven't thought about it in a while. I mostly had and sent images of the Nephilim capships from LOAF, a few odds and ends from the UE/Standoff boys, and some WC3 Kilrathi stuff (also from LOAF). Probably if I contacted him again (which I'll probably do pretty soon, haven't sent them an email...

    How big is that...?

I'll come out of hibernation to post on this one. I contacted the site author about putting in WC ships last November, which he seemed very interested in. I collected 2 dozen WC ship images for him to post and sent them to him. He was very excited about putting them online but this was during...

    Kilrathi Dreadnought

Ahhhh, I'm guessing thats where our numbers differ. I always counted the carriers (quarter of the fleet) that needed maintenance in the 'Confed' side of the equation. 20 down to 16, then you have the 4 Terran carriers set to come online in the 240 days the Baron projected that would bring...

    Kilrathi Dreadnought

hmm, it may be that I've been up for way too long, but that doesn't ring 'right' in my mind. This is all from memory, but I seem to recall in Tolwyns 'lets go join the Landreich' meeting (and I think in the beginning of the novel also) it mentions that the Kiralthi had at least a 2 to 1 fleet...

    Kilrathi Dreadnought

And don't forget the Prince lost the construction yards that built the Sivar ships :). Talk about bad to worse, Gilkarg to Thrakhath (though I guess it runs in the family . . . Gilkarg didn't seem too able a leader either). I really need to sit down and figure up how much loss Thrakhath is...

    Kilrathi Dreadnought

Kilrathi used bioweaps on Repleetah scientists in 2654 IIRC, Locanda is hit in 2669. C-ya

    Carrier island towers

You can tell a large difference if you place them side by side, I just can't think of a situation off the top of my head where your going to have that setup :). With the closest size reference 4000 meters off the bow(some escort), you might want something that will tell you instantly what type...

    Kilrathi Dreadnought

but in that image, you are lookinga at the Vic almost 'end on', the smallest possible profile of the ship. The Ranger isn't a 10th as tall as it is long and maybe only 1/8th as wide (rough from memory guess-timate). This image was taken just before the impact camera cut IIRC, so if we are to...

    Kilrathi Dreadnought

Hmmm, I'm not grasping how that in itself excludes the Hvar'kann from being a Hakaga (unless we are going back to include the reference to FC, which we can't get around anyway .. . even though this whole discussion has been a devils advocate situation) I guess I totally forgot about that...

    Kilrathi Dreadnought

The first shot you really can't use as it gives no bearing on how close the Victory is to the DN. The second one you can as it is impacting, and it can be used to say the DN is about 2.2km in-game. From your green outline, you can see that this screen only shows the 'portion' of the Victory...

    Kilrathi Dreadnought

Long post so I'll split the two: I'll throw my hat into this ring . . . regurgitating the arguments I've heard in the past and my personal ones. Haesslich - I don't think the WC3 novel says anything about how big the H'var Kann is . .. I could be wrong, but I'm not even sure its called...

    Yay Birthday Day!

Happy B-day CIC! This will have to suffice as the same circumstances that have kept me out of #wingnut for the past few months will keep me away from the B-day party. But hopefully in a few weeks, my thesis will be finished, we will be moved to our new home, etc etc and I can continue...

Why didn't Confed fight the Kilrathi more intelligently?

Thats why theres an edit button that allows you to change what you posted within, IIRC, a 2 hour period. Should be right next to the 'quote' button on your own post. Just like the handy dandy 'search' tool ... learn it, use it, love it :) C-ya

    Screenshots Release Thread

You mean this hanger? Be a bit tough to land a fighter there. BTW, thats the WC4 model. Makes one think that all destroyers may not have come with a hanger bay standard like the Coventry had in WC3. As for whats different about the pic, maybe a hint will help out. Its also the...

    Has anyone else noticed?

The only conversation I can recall happening along these lines is that your money is immediately electronically transfered into your account after a successful delivery. Can't recall anything physically being beamed anywhere. C-ya
