Come on the 'Tahs! BTW, I think Nick Stiles is just jealous of Matt 'Interecept King' Dunning, Brendan 'Canno/Maximus' Cannon and Al 'My firm designed this house' Baxter. NSW HAVE to win this game, considering their line up vs QLD. Not to mention that Flately and Latham are still in doubt...

    Request for UE2

How about we get to fly a Corvette? With cloak? J/K about the cloak, but serious about the corvette. Would have to come up with some pretty funky plot line to make Daniels have to fly a corvette.

Which ship do you want to fly on UE2?

That is weird. Is it something that can be fixed or altered? And does that mean it may be more beneficial to switch to single gun fire, like on the Bearcat, since it just has tachyons, or the Banshee, which just has lasers? By the way Wedge, can I have you as my lecturer? I have one that...

Has anyone used the Mace in WC4?

Yes, so why do capships fire turret fire at opposing capships? If the turret fire does nothing to the other ship, why fire it? I'll try to use a simpler analogy next time...

    What are these...

Sorry, I meant something like whether WCP/WCSO ships had any funadmental changes, such as a matter/anti matter engine, like the Dragon, or different power source or fuel source that may cause a change in output colours.

Which ship do you want to fly on UE2?

I don't want to see the same debate arise twice, but I don't think you can classify ships just on their guns. Just as a quick example the Darket and Sorthak are definitely different classifications in terms of light/medium/heavy/bomber, yet the only guns both ships had was the meson gun...

Has anyone used the Mace in WC4?

I find it silly that even though the lasers can't hurt the capships, they still fire them at them. It's like trying to kill mossies with deoderant spray. It doesn't work, so why use it?

    What are these...

I'm possibly reading the question wrong here, but maybe the comparison is between WCP era ships and Kilrathi ships - since they would still be similar to Wc3 and Wc4 era ships. I mean, what's the main difference between Wc3/4 era and WCP/SO ships?

Has anyone used the Mace in WC4?

In WCP and WCSO it's silly. Capships keep their turrets firing even though the enemy capship is dead, not to mention that only torps and plasma guns can hurt capship components. Just a side note, what are those other guns in WCSO that the cruisers use? The yellow ones that are fired 3 at a...

    Balancing the killboard

I had to put SOMETHING, didn't I? But it's what I noticed when I played Wc3. Flash says "I'd ask you to shine my shoes, but I like my shoes too much" but the subtitles below have "I'd ask you to shoe my shine, but I like my shoes too much" Maybe it's just the one I've got...check it out...

Which ship do you want to fly on UE2?

I found the Piranah to be a much better craft if by sticking a tachyon gun in, at the same port of the laser gun, so while you've got consistent shots coming through from the laser, every once in a while a nice chunky bit of damage is dealt by the tachyon. Puts severe drainage one the guns...

The Shute Shield only kicks off this weekend... I'm tipping the Waratahs to get their first Super 12 victory over the Reds as well this year. I think I would have gone for them last year, if Nathan Grey hadn't been injured. Besides, the Reds never beat NSW last year - it was Chris Latham...

    Balancing the killboard

Well, you can just sit there and let your wingmen try to take out enemy craft, but it takes too long! Especially in Wc3 and Wc4, except for when they fired missiles.

    What are these...

It's like how Cam said - for style, or just to make it pretty. A blue glow looks better than a red or green or pink or purple or yellow or black(?) etc glow. It's aesthetically pleasing.

Has anyone used the Mace in WC4?

Can't be. They fire the capship missile usually right before the Cruiser is destroyed. Maybe it is the locking time, but why press on full throttle to engage with turrets when you can sit back, relax and wait for the tone?

Which ship do you want to fly on UE2?

I still am looking forward to flying some of the older ships again, no matter which ones are newer or older than the others. Are you sure we can't get some of the other Kilrathi ships like the Sorthak?

Which ship do you want to fly on UE2?

The Bearcats were quite easy to mass produce, as could be seen from the clip in Wc4. They are simple ships with a reasonably symmetrical design and the 4 tachyon guns. While I liked the firepower, it's simplicity was its main drawback. Switch to full guns and you have to wait for a...

    What are these...

Can you reallly take something from nothing? I would think the blue glow is simply from the heat emissions produced by whatever is running the engines - matter/antimatter.

    Dragon Fighter

I actually find it hard to use sometimes, because the situations in which it is needed doesn't arise very often. I usually use it for long missions, like those which involve 7+ nav points and contact at most of them. I remember the first time I did the Kilrah run. I was still learning and...
